Podcasting don't take you too much time,when you download some audio or video.
Most of all, podcasting can let you know the latest information from a broadcast by using ipodder. Every update news you want to know will be automatically download in your PC or MAC.
However, if you don't have an iPod, all files which you download will not automate transfer of content to any non-iPod portable device.
Podcasting is very automatic to download new audio or video, but it is inconvenient that you must own the iPod portable device to use with Windows Media Player.
